Cherry blossom and daffodils

What a difference a week makes. Glorious bright spring sunshine here now. This photo was taken in the early evening when we have taken to sitting in the summerhouse with a glass of wine. There is always something to watch at this time of day. The hens like to forage on the lawn while Molly our cat sits and watches them just out of reach. Kevin the pheasant and his 2 female companions come and raid the hens’ food, seeing off any other male pheasants that come into the garden – and you thought the countryside was peaceful!
